freecarday2019Westchester County Government’s SMART Commute team will be celebrating Car Free Day on Friday, September 20th at the White Plains Transit Center  (Ferris Avenue & Water Street near the bus lanes).  Stop by to learn more about how to travel sustainably by using our Bee-Line Bus System.  Pick up a system map, bus or train schedule, enter to win a MetroCard and enjoy complimentary refreshments provided by local businesses.  We will be joined by our partners, 511NY Rideshare and Lime Bike who will also have fun raffles for gift cards and free bike rides!

We encourage Westchester County employees to participate in this exciting event to improve air quality and wellness in the Hudson Valley.

Just go car free or car-light – ride the bus or train, carpool, bike or walk to work – that easy!  Getting to work doesn’t have to be work.

To participate in Car Free Day, simply fill out the pledge form. You’ll automatically be entered for a chance to win prizes.  You’ll also help Westchester County Government get recognition for the most pledges and earn “GREEN” bragging rights!

Have fun and help make the 3rd Annual Car Free Day Hudson Valley a great success!
