Fares

Effective January 4, 2026, the base fare will be $3.00, and $1.50 for reduced-fare riders. The BxM4C will be $7.75; $3.85 for reduced-fare riders during off-peak trips.

Coins, exact change only, no pennies or bills are accepted, and with OMNY, riders can save money through weekly fare capping. Pay for 12 rides using the same card or device in a 7-day period, and all additional rides within the week are free. Learn more here.

When boarding, have your preferred OMNY payment, MetroCard or exact coin fare ready. If you are paying with coins and need a transfer, ask for it at the time of fare payment.
Children under five ride free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.

Senior and disabled reduced fares are available to riders at least 65 years of age, certified disabled persons and valid Medicare card holders with proper photo identification. OMNY reduced-fares are only available to holders of personalized reduced-fare OMNY cards. Learn more here.

Transfers
When paying with coins, paper transfers will be accepted on all local routes, except the same route initially boarded. Paper transfers must be obtained at the time of boarding.

Transfers with OMNY and Pay-Per-Ride MetroCards will be accepted on all local Bee-Line routes, except the same route initially boarded, NYC local buses and subways with no additional fare charged to the card, within two hours of the initial boarding.

Transfers
There are no free transfers available between the BxM4C and any Bee-Line local bus or NYC bus or subway.

MetroCards

MetroCard sales ended on December 31, 2025, and cards are no longer be reloadable. Bee-Line will continue to accept MetroCard as a form of payment into 2026.  Weekly and monthly MetroCards must be activated by January 31, 2026.

Bee-Line Bus and Metro-North Connections
UniTicket is a monthly train-to-bus, reduced-rate ticket that combines monthly round-trip local bus service with train fare. UniTicket is available for purchase at any Metro-North ticket office. It is accepted for one fare to/from the railroad station listed on the ticket. A transfer may not be purchased when boarding with a UniTicket
