Federal mask requirement for transit riders
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued an order requiring the wearing of masks by travelers to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As of June 16, 2021, individuals are still required to wear a mask throughout public transportation systems. Riders must wear masks that cover both the mouth and nose when boarding, traveling on or disembarking public transit.

You do not have to wear a mask at outdoor bus stops or transit centers. You must wear a mask once you board a Bee-Line bus or paratransit vehicle, regardless of your vaccination status.

While medical masks and N-95 respirators fulfill CDC and TSA’s requirements, face shields and/or goggles are not an acceptable substitute for the use of a mask; however, they may be used in addition to an acceptable mask. For more information, visit the CDC website.
