Seniors at bus stop

Senior - Be Educated About Transit Program, or commonly known as Senior B.E.A.T. - is a transit orientation program that instructs Westchester seniors on how to safely and successfully use the Bee-Line System to promote greater travel independence.

The presentation includes a brochure in English and Spanish

Seniors will learn:

  • how to plan a trip
  • how to use the Reduced Fare Program
  • key bus safety and "how to ride" skills
  • the accessible features available on a Bee-Line bus
  • and much more...

One–hour programs will be taught at senior centers, clubs, libraries, houses of worship and other locations by a representative from the Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation.
